About Michelle

I am a licensed psychotherapist with 20 years of experience specialising in treatment of eating disorders, grief and loss, and spiritual development including finding meaning in the second-half of life.  I provide guidance in a supportive and caring environment to individuals, couples, groups, and families.  Also I am a popular workshop presenter within the field of mental health and spiritual awakening and growth, I have presented over 50 workshops to medical resident students, physicians, nurses, psychotherapists, counsellors, exhausted company employees and their managers, and the general public who are interested in the topics she teaches.  I have been an instructor teaching an in depth study of theories of health psychology, illness behaviour, and behavioural medicine. I have a Degree in Psychology from University California Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Masters degree from University, Sacramento (CSUS).

My Spirituality Training includes the philosophies of Salzberg, Goldstein, Chodron, Borysenko, Remen, and others.  I participate in meditation groups, and integrates a discipline of awareness when running and weight training. I incorporates spirituality allowing her to live in the moment, honouring her intuitive process, and noting gratitude on a daily basis.  I offer workshop retreats that teach techniques to incorporate and further develop relationships with others and self while deepening one’s own sense of holiness in their life.
